How we started

HI everyone, welcome to my online boutique. I am Julia Malave, the founder of JMalave boutiques. I would like to express how this dream turned into reality.

When I was a child, I use to love playing with my Barbie dolls. I loved to design and make their clothes. When I got older, I always dreamed of going into the fashion design industry. Well sometimes things don't really turn out the way you would wish they would turn out. 

I married at a really young age and had my first two children. I divorced and later married again. My second marriage my focus was always kids and your spouse. Leaving me last in my thoughts. Later towards the end of my second marriage my focus changed on taking care of myself physically and mentally. I turned to shopping for outfits that would make me feel sexy, classy and beautiful. 

Every social event became a let's dress to impress. I would always receive and still do receive compliments. As a woman going into her 50's I still wanted to feel young and sexy. I want to pass this feeling along to as many women as I can. This feeling makes you feel as if you can take on the world. It made me change and turn my eye away from judgement and negativity. 

This is what I call empowerment. You have the power over your own happiness and what you will accept into your life. Why not look amazing and feel amazing while you think positive and feel positive about yourself.  I hope you all love my hand-picked outfits of empowerment I have chosen for you to select from.
